Last year I sold my 5D mark ii and acquired a second-hand 5D mark iii. I acquired it from a photo store, it was in good condition, cleaned and checked. Did you google "AF microadjust". That's what it's called, not lens calibration. I don't have a 5d MkIII but in the 7D it is in the custom function menu. I assume it's the same on the 5D MkIII. The procedure is pretty much the same for all EOS bodies with AF microadjust capability.
